Gypsy Kid

Gypsy Kid is a junglist DJ originally from Chicago and now based in Oakland, California, where he streams on Twitch and co-hosts “Inside the Ride” with the 916 Junglists crew. He came up through Chicago’s house scene, studied piano and violin as a kid, and turned to jungle after hearing drum & bass mixtapes, describing the sound as the “punk rock” of electronic music. A Team Brisk streamer with releases on Rhythmic Remedies Recordings, he has performed with Proper Chicago across their Twitch broadcasts, appearing alongside Konztant, Misfit, Mona Lisa, and Deinfamous. His sets favor heavy, ragga-tinged jungle and underground bass.
