Intel (DJ Intel) is a Chicago DJ and turntablist rooted in hip hop’s golden era, known for open-format sets that fold drum & bass, bass music, house, funk and soul into a single blend. He has held numerous Chicago club residencies and performed at festivals including Lollapalooza, SXSW, North Coast Music Festival and Spring Awakening, and he runs the ongoing I Haz Podcast mix series across SoundCloud and Mixcloud. A longtime fixture of Proper Drum & Bass Chicago, he has appeared across the collective’s events at Debonair Social Club and Podlasie Club alongside artists such as Alcove, LO!, Phantom 45 and Command Strange.
